No.1888
Once upon a time, in a small village in Spain, there lived a middle-aged peasant. He had lived in the same small hut in the same small village all his life.
One summer afternoon, a friend of the peasant came to see him. The visitor noticed his friend was packing a suitcase, and asked him where he was going.
"I'm going to Barcelona," said the peasant.
His friend said, "You mean, you are going to Barcelona…God Willing."
The peasant continued to pack his suitcase and answered emphatically, "No, I'm going to Barcelona."
God heard him, and the peasant's arrogance irked Him, so He turned him into a frog and sat him down at a frogpond about fifteen feet from his hut. At the end of five years, God turned the peasant back into a man and placed him back in his hut in the little Spanish village.
One afternoon several months later, the friend came again to see the peasant, and again, he found his friend packing.
The visitor asked, "Where are you going?"
The peasant replied, "I am going to Barcelona … or the frogpond."
